William Lee, MD


Dr. Lee joined Colorado Kidney Care in 2006.

He went to Columbia University for college, University of Texas at Galveston for medical school and then completed his internal medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he was chosen and served as a Chief Resident for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Lee completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Colorado and now primarily works in Colorado Kidney Care’s Denver office. He is currently the medical director of the acute dialysis program at National Jewish Health – Saint Joseph Hospital as well as the Davita Denver and Davita Englewood dialysis clinics.

Dr. Lee’s philosophy in medical care stresses education – for patients, providers, nurses and everyone in the medical staff. He strongly feels knowledge is vital in providing great healthcare. He has co-authored a book to help medical students improve on their clinical skills and has won teaching awards both during his residency training and as a volunteer faculty at the Exempla-St. Joseph’s internal medicine program.
